Ms. Despoina Kariofylli is an experienced notary, maintaining her own office in the South Suburbs of Athens (Voula). She studied History and Archaeology at the School of Philosophy of the University of Ioannina and law at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece. Upon acquiring her attorney license, she worked as a lawyer in top-notch law firms in Athens, specializing in commercial and civil law. Having always wanted to become a notary, she planned her next career steps carefully. After working for large and well-known Notary Offices in Athens and obtaining first-hand knowledge and experience in the notarial profession, she sat for the Notary Exams and successfully passed on her first attempt. She then set up her own office in 2017 and has since been working as a notary.
Ms. Kariofylli speaks fluent English and German. She has been our law firm’s exclusive notary since she opened her own practice and has assisted many of our clients with their matters. Her flexibility, efficiency, professionalism, and ability to find solutions to complex contract-related matters are only some of the reasons why we chose to work with her. She is experienced in all types of contracts, private and commercial, including but not limited to contracts of sale, incorporation agreements, real estate transfer deeds, wills, power of attorney documents, Horizontal Ownership Establishment Deeds, partition deeds, etc.
Ms. Kariofylli is able to assist our clients on an emergency basis, if needed, due to her active and close cooperation with our office and can offer additional services (independently of our clients’ cooperation with our office) and also offer notarial advice.
